Chief Executive Officer at 1010 Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and Non-Executive Chairman of Africom (Pvt) Ltd, Charles Wekwete has over 20 years of experience in technology, governance, and ICT policy. He formerly served as Permanent Secretary for the E-Government Department in the Office of the President and Cabinet (2018-2022) and held various leadership roles, including Director of Technical Services for the President’s Department and Vice Chairman of TelOne (Pvt) Ltd. With a Master’s in Business Administration and a background in Information Systems, he has represented Zimbabwe internationally in ICT and cybersecurity initiatives, contributing to projects such as the National E-Government Readiness Survey and the UN ICT Experts Group on Cybercrime​.
